Sugar Hill

Sugar Hill estate is set on a ridge that overlooks the west coast of Barbados and has stunning sea views. The entire estate stretches over fifty acres of beautiful tropical gardens.

Guests staying at Just Limin' can enjoy the Sugar Hill facilities; Two minutes' walk away is the clubhouse which is home to "The Deck" bar and restaurant as well as the 2,000 square foot infinity pool and well equipped gym. Other facilities include the garden swimming pool and four floodlit tennis courts.

Beaches

Guests at Just Limin' will also enjoy membership of the Royal Fairmont Pavilion beach club which is 5 minutes' drive or 20 minutes' walk away at the Royal Fairmont Pavilion Hotel. The beach club provides complimentary sun loungers and parasols, an informal beach bar/restaurant and water sports.

You are spoilt for choice for lovely beaches on the West Coast where the sea is calm and perfect for swimming and other water sports. Other nearby beaches include Paynes Bay, Mullins Bay and Sandy Lane. On the other side of the island, the more wild and rugged East Coast is a great place to enjoy a picnic on the beach with the thunderous Atlantic rollers providing a breath-taking backdrop.

Activities

Golf - The Royal Westmoreland Golf course is right next to Sugar Hill. Also very close by, is the prestigious Sandy Lane which offers no less than three courses - The Old Nine, the Country Club Course and the Green Monkey Course, the latter two having been designed by Tom Fazio. The Apes Hill course is also close by and slightly further away on the South Coast is the Barbados Golf Club and the Rockley Club.

Diving & Snorkelling - Barbados offers a number of wreck and reef dive sites, and there are several excellent dive operators to dive with providing good local knowledge and various courses to suit all levels from complete beginner upwards. Snorkelling off of the beach also lets you get acquainted with the local marine life at close quarters - this could very likely include hawksbill and leatherback sea turtles.

Polo - has been played in Barbados since 1884 and the island is home to no less than 4 polo fields!

Surfing - The Atlantic facing East Coast of the island has some spectacular waves and is very popular with surfers from all over the world. Due to its position, Barbados will have surf somewhere along its shores most days in the year.
